Real and Ideal: Media Consumption by Generation, Part III Growing Up Online: Generation Y/ Millennials/ Echo Boomers

The younger they are, the more focused these generations are on the internet as a communication tool and news source. The younger generations, some of whom still use pacifiers while connected to a computer—are regarded as multi-taskers, socially conscious and averse to marketing. The age of YouTube, Facebook, and MySpace is upon us enthralling this demographic-- and beyond.
